Jamie Cooperstein is a solo practitioner with a practice emphasizing
business, entertainment, and corporate matters. She has experience
structuring, negotiating, and drafting contracts for a wide range of business
transactions including mergers and acquisitions, business entity set-up,
maintenance and restructuring, licensing, and employment agreements. In
the world of entertainment she has experience with independent feature
film and television production and distribution, and employment matters.
Ms. Cooperstein began her practice of law with a partner under the name
DeMartini & Cooperstein, P.C. This practice was limited to business,
entertainment and corporate law. After two (2) years, she took a position
with Greenblatt & Associates, a boutique business litigation firm where she
had the rare opportunity to be lead counsel on several high profile complex
civil litigation cases, including the highly publicized “Northridge Meadows”
case, wherein sixteen (16) people lost their lives in the Northridge
Meadows apartment complex during the 1994 Northridge earthquake.
Although she now limits her practice to transactional matters, this
experience affords her the ability to advise clients on litigation matters,
including selecting proper litigation counsel and developing a litigation
strategy that is consistent with the client’s business needs.
She is a member of ProVisors and BeachNet, organizations committed to
connecting seasoned, quality professionals for the mutual benefit of their
clients. These memberships make her a great resource for her clients’
needs well beyond the practice of business, entertainment and corporate
law.
